TERMS OF SERVICE (TOS)

Welcome to Artefilias Films. By purchasing any of our digital menu renovation services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your checkout.

1. Scope of Service & Deliverables

·         We provide remote digital menu renovation, composition, and cinematic relighting based on the raw photos provided by the client.

·         We do not alter, generate, or modify the authentic visual structure of your dishes. Your food remains 100% genuine. We only renovate the digital environment, lighting, plating ornaments, and background.

·         Final assets are delivered as high-resolution, App-Optimized HD JPG files. Every standard package includes exactly two layout formats to be selected in the post-purchase questionnaire, strictly limited to the following technical dimensions: Universal Square (1:1, up to 2752 x 2752 px or 1536 x 1536 px depending on composition workflow), Traditional Landscape (4:3, 2048 x 1536 px), Widescreen Cinematic (16:9, 2752 x 1536 px), and Vertical Smartphone (9:16, 1536 x 2752 px).

·         Delivery of a third aspect ratio format or dimensions outside these specifications will incur additional digital adaptation fees.

·         No source files, layered files, or transparent PNGs are included.

2. Onboarding & Creative Questionnaire (Crucial Rule)

·       Immediately after checkout, you will receive a link to our mandatory Creative Questionnaire to submit your preferences.

·       This questionnaire allows you to select the aesthetic, style, and background environment for your dishes through simple multiple-choice options.

·       If the client fails or refuses to fill out the questionnaire, Artefilias Films will choose the environment we consider most suitable for your culinary style. Once work begins under these conditions, no free revisions or changes will be granted.

 
3. Revision & Correction Policy

·       Studio Errors: Any correction due to technical, conceptual, or formatting errors made by Artefilias Films will be fixed immediately at zero cost to the client.

·        Change of Mind / Creative Pivot: If a specific environment was agreed upon in the questionnaire (e.g., a modern marble background) and the client later requests a complete shift to a different environment (e.g., a rustic wooden setup), this will be treated as a new project phase. A redesign fee will apply, calculated based on complexity and time invested.

·       Out-of-Scope Revisions: Any revision requests that contradict the initial submitted questionnaire will incur additional fees.

4. Delivery Times & File Upload Window

·       Our standard delivery window is 7 business days.

·       This countdown begins only after the client has successfully uploaded all raw photos through our designated secure upload portal and submitted the Creative Questionnaire.

·       Late Uploads: There is no strict expiration date to upload your photos. However, if a client takes longer than 7 calendar days after checkout to upload their assets, they forfeit the standard 7-business-day turnaround guarantee. The project will be moved to the end of our production queue to prioritize on-time clients.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

·       Before Work Begins: If you request a cancellation after checkout but before you upload your photos or before we begin digital processing, a refund may be granted. However, a 17% administrative and banking fee penalty will be deducted to cover non-refundable e-commerce platform commissions, payment gateway fees (Stripe/PayPal), and tax accounting processing costs.

·       After Work Begins: Once our digital styling and composition process has started on your files, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances due to the digital, custom, and labor-intensive nature of our service.
